He is survived by: his stepfather Wilton Thompson (Paralee Dawson Thompson); his wife Dorothy Miller Dawson of Anderson, SC; and his children, Billy Eric Dawson (Cheon) of Atlanta, GA, Wilma Groves of Anderson, SC., Sandra Dawson of Anderson, SC. and Doretha Dawson of Anderson, SC.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.
