He was predeceased by : his parents, Eddie Findley and Ruby Craft Findley; his spouse Sybile Gentry Findley; his sons, Dennis H. Crawford, Rickey Allen Findley and Marshall Lamar Crawford; and his siblings, Virginia Cleveland, Marshall Findley and Donald Findley.

He is survived by : his daughter Carol Renee Findley; and his grandchildren, Darrell A. Findley, Donnie Ray Crawford, Marshall Crawford, Denise Thompson, Amy Wilson, Pamela Moss, Cristie Gaylord and Travis McMahan. He is also survived by 14 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Chapel (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624).
