Caroline T. Turner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Caroline T. Turner in Anderson, South Carolina. Caroline, born on March 31, 1956, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Meinders and Juanita Roper Meinders; her grandchildren, Robert James Lawrence Sr. and Jazmyn Owens; her great grandchild Zander Owens; and her brother Walter Samuel Meinders.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Turner; her children, Cynthia Lawrence (David) of Sanford, NC, Neil Powell (Kathy) of Easley, SC, Kenneth Powell of Easley, SC, Tina Melissa Owens of Easley, SC and Heather Lister of Kathleen, GA.; her siblings, Debra Owens (Jairus) of Easley, SC, Anita Boynton (Rick) of Liberty, SC, Viola Stevenson of Liberty, SC, Hope Wilson (Ted) of Piedmont, SC, Martha Schell (Steve) of Woodruff, SC, Darrell Meinders (Frances) of Easley, SC and Chris Meinders (Vickie) of Liberty, SC.; and her in-laws, James Garland Turner and Barbara Elizabeth Turner of Easley, SC. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the West End Baptist Church (120 Mission Dr, Easley, SC 29642).
In honor of Caroline, donations may be made to St. Francis Cancer Center or Rainey Hospice House.
