She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanton Parker Shirley and Margaret Clark Shirley; her husband William Chisholm "Bill" Austin, Jr.; and her sister Jan Shirley Sanders. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret "Anne" Austin, Pamela "Pam" Austin McLeod and Susan Austin Welborn (Don); her grandchildren, Johnnie "Austin" McLeod (Emily), Sarah-Katelyn Welborn and Landon Welborn; her great grandchild Nash McLeod; and her sisters, Barbara Shirley Crittenden and Lynda Shirley Mize. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
