She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Whitener and Beulah Cobb Whitener; her husband Milton Baker; and her siblings, Katherine Dickerson, Arthur Whitener, Ray Whitener and Curtis Whitener.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Baker (Denise), Diane Chreitzberg, Melissa Ables (Rory) and Alex Baker (Caressa); her grandchildren, William, Lacy, Krista, Courtney, Kayla, Ricky, Bryce, Zach, Dusty, Beth, Erin and Justin; her sister Judy Jones; and her sister-in-law Molly Whitener. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
