With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Watson (Anderson, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Watson and Ruthel Evans Watson; his son Charles Edward Watson II; and his siblings, Annie Lois McDowell, James Watson (Joe), Evelyn Watson and John Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith Watson; his son David Smith; his grandchildren, Kyleigh and Jordan Smith; his great-niece Zoe Long; his great-nephews, Tarahji Harris, Omari Long and Kyrie Johnson; his siblings, Douglas Watson (Frances), Fred Watson, Michael Watson (Treva), Thelma Watson and Fannie Quarles; his uncle Bob Evans; and his aunt Zella Evans.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
