He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Cain Gentry; his children, Angela Gentry Small and Gregory Bryan Gentry (Tonya); his grandchildren, Lauren Brooke Ray (Matt), Dillon Keith Murphy (Amber) and Carson Gentry; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ray, Jaxson Ray, Mia Taylor, Easton Murphy and Kinsley Blackwell; and his siblings, Sue Gentry Parks (Steve) and Barney Gentry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Tribute Room of the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625).
