With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Corrie Young (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Walker and John Latimer; her husband Samuel Young; and her children, Gloria Young, John Will Young, Michael Young and Kevin Young.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Rice, Janice Young, Allison Wood (Stefan), Clarence Young and Sammy Young; and her grandchildren, Terrance Young, Xavier Foster, Brianna Castlin and Amari Castlin.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
