He was predeceased by : his parents, Doris Hardy Morris and Albert Simpson; and his sister Helen Walker. He is survived by : his daughters, Spangler "Spangi" Cox, Yashika Turner and Nina Bowman; his siblings, Dorothy Wilson, Deborah Lee, Ophelia Brownlee and Frank Morris; and his close friend Northside. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
