He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Richey and Grace Parris Richey; his wife Nancy Gail Richey; and his son Scottie Richey. He is survived by: his son Jason D. Richey (Candice). He is also survived by four brothers; four sisters; five granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sosebee Mortuary (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sosebee Mortuary (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624).
