He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Connellan Browne of Mount Airy, NC and Mary Alice Welch Browne (Welch); his siblings, Robert Browne, Francis Browne, Robert Maurice Browne, Thomas Marcus Browne III, John Alphonse Browne, Joseph Connellan Browne, Maurice Cornelius Browne, Mary Agnes Cohill, Monica Alice Preisinger and Therese Browne Abraham; and his son Christopher Kevin Browne.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Marion Browne; his children, Sarah Jane Long and Louis Patrick Browne; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Connellan Browne, Nicholas Prescott Browne, Colleen Elizabeth Long and Claire Margaret Long.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1200 Cornelia Rd, Anderson, SC 29621). The inurnment will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (1500 N Main St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Holy Angels Catholic Church, Mt. Airy, NC.
