It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Lipton in Anderson, South Carolina, born in Homestead, Florida, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Metheny and Carla J. Cook; and her brothers, Jack Cook and Gary Atkinson. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Lipton (Ali), Richard Lipton and Michael Lipton; her grandsons, Logan Rahm and Riley Deck; her great grandchild Blake Rahm; her siblings, Vicki Wiedinger (Donald) and Glenn Atkinson (Mollee); her daughter-in-law Cherie Rahm; her close friends, Marlene Dunn and Maureen Adams; her cherished kitties Mikey; and her pet Andy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Golden Corner Food Pantry in Seneca, SC., or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
