He is survived by: his wife Zena Nesbitt Gambrell; his daughters, Melita Gambrell McDowell, Felicia Gambrell, Shanta Gambrell Harris (Jarrey) and LaKesha Gambrell; his stepson James Nesbitt; and his siblings, Ali Gambrell, Steve Gambrell, Yolanda Gambrell and Robyn Gambrell Wallace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
