She was predeceased by: her parents, Rena Williams Brown and Obie Elliot Brown, Sr.; her son Jerome "Tony" Johnson; her brother Obie Elliott Brown, Jr.; and her nephew Ricky Elliott Brown.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Janice Swilley (Lendale) of Georgia, Twanda Brown of Washington, D. C. and Obie Brown (Ericka) of Sumter; her godchildren, Linda Whitner and Cedric Cannon; and her close friend Bailous Vance. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
