It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James D. Hicks of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mack Benjamin and Mary Louise Addis Hicks; his son Collin Smith Hicks; and his brother Benjamin B. Hicks. He is survived by : his daughter Hannah Caroline Hicks; his granddaughter Ava Wilson; and his cousin Wayne H. "Butch" Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
