With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanna McPherson Ramsey of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joanna has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack E. Ramsey; her parents, Carl D. and Noita Sullivan McPherson; her husband Ramsey Strawberry Farm; her grandson Joseph Eric Dixon; and her sister Frances Hannah.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Ramsey Schumpert (Barry), Julie Dixon (Eddie) and John Eric Ramsey (Angela); and her sister Martha Evans. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
