He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard "Bill" and Deree McClain Dickerson; his son Russell Brent Dickerson; and his brother Donald E. Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Dickerson; his children, Marty Dickerson and Devin Dickerson Dial (Hunter); his daughter-in-law Monica Dickerson; his grandsons, Jacob William Dickerson and Carter Martin Dickerson; his great grandchild Finley Dickerson; and his brother Tony Dickerson (Debbie).
