He was predeceased by: his parents, John William "Bill" Caldwell, Sr. and Rebecca "Betty Jo" Francis Caldwell; and his brother Robert Patrick "Pat" Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Thomas Caldwell; his son Nathan "Nate" Thomas Caldwell of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Finn Caldwell, Wyatt Caldwell and Judd Caldwell; his daughter Lindsey Elaine Caldwell of Anderson, SC; his grandchildren, William, Westin, Kennedy and Reid; his siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Caldwell Jones (Butch), James Thomas "Tommy" Caldwell (Phyllis), Dr. Kenneth "Kenny" Madison Caldwell (Marianne), Laurie Caldwell Scheffer (Sean) and Timothy Christopher "Chris" Caldwell (Anna); and his sister-in-law Robin Cheatham Caldwell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
