He was predeceased by : his parents, Eleziah Vandiver, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Vandiver; and his siblings, Walter Robert, Eleziah Vandiver, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Vandiver.

He is survived by : his children, Leon Scott of Seneca, SC, Nikki Williams of Apopka, FL and Precious Vandiver of Pendleton, SC; and his sister Laura Hall of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
