He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ross Swearengin and Ruth Ellen Hoffman; his former wife Beatrice Mooar; and his daughter Denise A. Morin (Richard Morin). He is survived by: his wife Doraine Mooar; and his son David Mark Pelletier. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625). The military honors was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
