She was predeceased by: her parents, Benno Schmidt and Ottilia Schmidt (Roth); her daughter Jacqueline; her brothers, Benny, Jerry and Mel; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis and John.

She is survived by: her husband Lou Doucette; her children, Nicole (Jerry), Paul (Julianne) and Michael; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Matthew and Jonathan; her sisters, Louise and Marcy; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley, Paula and Judy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
