It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Snipes McLeese of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm McLeese; her parents, George Dewey Snipes, Sr. and Ethel Phillips Snipes Dail; her son Brad Crain; her grandson Ryan Crain; and her siblings, Connie Martin, Jimmie Rice and George Snipes, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Murphy (Bob), Melissa Robertson (Scott), Stephen Crain (Sandy), Mark Crain (Jena) and Troy Crain (Misty); her grandchildren, Adam Crain, Lauren Kittrell, David Crain, April Human, Catherine Crain, Ben Crain, Jonathan Murphy, Christian Robertson and Samantha Robertson; and her close friend Hope. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and her fur baby.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
