Joyce Evans West Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Evans West of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Joyce departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard West; her parents, Claude Evans and Lila Childs Evans; and her brothers, Gaines Evans, Harris Evans and Glenn Evans.

She is survived by: her sister Mary Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
