It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lightweis-Buchanan Chapman (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father-in-law Wade Buchanan; her grandmother Dorothy Lightweis; her uncle Tom Bullen; her cousin Michael Bullen; and her siblings, Bryan Stephen and Beth Marie Lightweis.

She is survived by: her spouse Chris Chapman; her children, Brittany Buchanan (Donnie Marcus) and Brandon Buchanan (Elizabeth); her parents, Alan Lightweis and Patricia Lightweis; her sisters, Bonnie and Jennie; and her brothers-in-law, Philip Schmidt (Bonnie) and Phillip Lightweis-Goff (Jennie).
