He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie W. Cromer and Dorothy "Dot" King Cromer; and his wife Donna Foster Cromer. He is survived by: his children, Tim Cromer (Dewayne Pressler), Stacy Martin (Larry) and Paula Carson (Jeff); his grandsons, Cameron Stone (Cassidy Highsmith) and Garrett Stone (Olivia); his great grandchild Ella Stone; his stepgranddaughters, Cassie Winters (Brian) and Stephanie Pirkey (Brandon); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Molly Winters, Malachi, Caleb and Joshua Pirkey.
