She was predeceased by : her husband Lloyd Raymond Mefford; her parents, Francis William Norman and Alma Marie Norman; and her grandsons, David Purdy and Brant Harvey.

She is survived by : her daughters, Janet Butler (Tom) of Townville and Barbara Harvey (Bruce) of Tallahassee, Florida; her grandson Justin Harvey (Julie); her great grandchildren, Joel Harvey, Jonah Harvey and Jordan Harvey of Tallahassee, Florida; and her sister Bettie Helm. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
