He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ann Aiken Hughes of Anderson; his parents, William Shirley Hughes and Rosa Lee Evans Hughes; his siblings, Delbert Lee Hughes, Betty Lou Parton, Norma Jean Koon and Myra Ellen Hughes; and his grandson Brian Keith Hughes Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Brian Keith Hughes Sr. (Renee), Debra Leann Worley and Myra Osterbuhr (Brad); his grandchildren, Jessica Lauren McCall (D. J. Cole), Charles Adam Hughes, Brady Lane Hughes, Kassandra Osterbuhr, Madalyn Osterbuhr and Grant Osterbuhr; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Quinn Cole.
