Laura Ann Ware Obituary

We bid farewell to Laura Ann Ware (Anderson, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 19, 2025 at the age of 76. Laura Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Groves, Sr. and Verna Boseman Groves; her husband David Lee Ware; her siblings, David Groves, Johnny Tillman Groves, Sr., Bobby Lewis Groves, Joseph Groves, Sr., William Groves, Dorothy Taylor, Francis Henderson and Rita Mae Groves; and her grandson Jamari Scott.

She is survived by: her children, Simanthia Scott (Phillip), James Tyrone Brown (Tara) and Teresa Jeter (Freeman); her grandchildren, Robbie Maines, De'Ante Brown, Tyrhea'Brown, Phillip T. Scott, Jr., Tremaine Mims, Laurynn Jeter, Jamal Jeter and Andrena Jeter; her sister Jacqueline Groves Hendrix of Anderson, SC; her sisters-in-law, Loretta Groves, Sarah Groves, Shelba Groves and Daisy Groves; and her sibling's children, Wilma Groves and James Harold Groves. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Unity Mortuary of Anderson (401 S Fant St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (837 Rice Cemetery Rd, Belton, SC 29627).
