With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon Francis Bouknight Jr. of Anderson, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leon Francis left this world on June 25, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid Leon Francis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leon Francis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon "Pete" Bouknight and Annette Sample Bouknight of Saluda, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Susan McCall Bouknight; his sons, Jamie, Josh and Jonathan; and his sister Deborah Perry. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ramey Funeral Home (202 N Rudolph St, Saluda, SC 29138). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Rock Baptist Church (115 Slab Bridge Rd, Liberty, SC 29657).
