She was predeceased by: her father Homer Karrell Simpson; her stepparents, Diane Simpson and Aaron Campbell; her grandson Hagen Phillips; and her siblings, Kevin Simpson, Rhonda Simpson and Jeff Simpson.
She is survived by: her mother Cynthia Cann Campbell; her husband Johnny Andrew Strickland; her children, Brandon Phillips (Brooke), Angel Strickland (Xavier), Jonathan Strickland (Kimberly) and Max Strickland; and her grandchildren, John Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Hannah Phillips, Jessica Phillips, Karmen Phillips, Aaron Phillips, Madison Fortune, Mallory Fortune, Maci Fortune, Addison Strickland and JJ Strickland.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maple Room of the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Standard Cremation & Funeral Center (1621 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625).
