She was predeceased by: her parents, Reece Yon and Willie Mae Yon; and her sister Frances Dee Yon Steely. She is survived by: her husband William C. Alewine; her sons, Jody C. Alewine (Regina) and Paul B. Alewine; her grandchildren, Riley and Bailey Alewine; and her brother Robert Benson Yon (Frieda).
