With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice West Biggar in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry T. West and Alma Moore West; and her husband George C. Biggar, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Penny Biggar Tritt (Terry), Cheryl Robyn Biggar Smith (David), George Curtis Biggar (Cindy) and Tammy Biggar Hall (Rob); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Tritt, Karen Tritt Binnarr, Kristin Rebekah Tritt, Mary Tritt Escobar, Aaron Thompson, Midori Thompson Roseberry, Calie Biggar Cook, George Christopher Biggar, Josh Biggar, Jeremy Biggar, Shannon Hall Sullivan, Tara Hall Brose and Tessa Hall Osborn. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
