She is survived by: her brother Benjamin (Valerie); her sister-in-law Vivian Tate (late Billy Tate); her nieces and nephews, Dr. Tonya Houston of Charleston, Phyllis Wilson (Lee) of Hampton, Georgia, Christina McCowan of Easley, Kandisse Tate of Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel (Tawanda) of Anderson, Baron (Theresa) of Anderson, Maurice Turman (Sonya) of Anderson, Brandon (Tia) of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Dondrigues Harling of Denver, Colorado.; her adoptive parent Christie (Charles Bryant); and her close friend Adelaide Saunja Lawson of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Mary was an active charter member of the Les Tres Soulettes Social Club and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she exemplified kindness, charity, and sisterhood.
