She was predeceased by : her parents, Donnie Napoleon Strickland and Reba Mae Strickland; her husband Wilton Leon Sherman; her daughter Elizabeth Dove Maners; the father of her children James Allen Maners; and her brothers, Johnny Strickland, Marvin Strickland and Horace Strickland.
She is survived by : her children, James Allen Christopher Maners, Larry Dwayne Maners (Griselda), Sabrina Chambers and Rebecca Lee (Rodney); and her siblings, Harry James Strickland, Larry Eugene Strickland (Mickie) and Irene McMurtry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
