She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Lee Shilts, Sr.; her son James Daniel Shilts; her sister Judith Tipton (Benny); and her grandson Charles Caum. She is survived by: her children, Ronald L. Shilts, Jr. (Shirley) and Laura Caum (Joe); her grandchildren, Joseph Caum (Ashley), Christopher Shilts (Leah), Mary Jayne Caum and Laura Lee Pike (Harrison); her great grandchildren, Jorgie Mae Caum, Collier Lee Caum and Shiloh Marie Caum; and her sister Lynn Chapman (Wayne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Andersonville National Cemetery (496 Cemetery Rd, Andersonville, GA 31711).
