She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Simpson and Frances Henry Matthews; and her brother Joel Earle Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Lee Moon; her children, Steve Moon (Susan), Zibbie Henderson (Randy), Wendy Birchfield (Craig) and Lisa Roberts (Mark); her grandchildren, Jason, Travis Moon (Kelly), Landon Henderson, Ashlin Henderson Drake (Tyler), Clay Roberts (Sallie), Elizabeth Roberts, Abbey Joyner (William) and Anna Patterson (Connor); and her great grandchildren, Kate, Max, Miller, Finn Moon, Everlee, Cliff Joyner, Lillian, Palmer Roberts, Cameron, Charlotte and Catherine Drake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Boulevard Baptist Church (700 Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621).
