She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley "Buck" Hulin and Bessie Hulin; her former husband Everett Grindstaff of Spruce Pine, NC; her daughter Cynthia Marie Grindstaff; her brother Paul "Jab" Hulin; and her stepson Jeff James.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Darlene Gilreath (Greg) of Piedmont and Everett Wesley Grindstaff (Robyn) of Belton; her grandchildren, Jason Caldwell, Cody Caldwell and Brianna Grindstaff; her sister Judy Carter of Thomasville, NC; and her stepson Tony James. She is also survived by her first marriage, as well as 7 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
