She is survived by : her husband Don Jay Nichols; her children, Kimberly Nicole Mabry and James Gable; her siblings, Brenda Moon, Teresa Creamer, Toni Smith, Margaret Marchbanks (Dwayne), Ruby McCormick (Brian), Thomas Gable (Hazel), Richard Gable and Curtis Gable; and her grandchildren, A. J. and Allison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
