He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian James and Viola Latham Harbin Herring; his son Travis Harbin; his brothers, Julian Harbin, Lewis Harbin and Harrison Harbin; and his stepsisters, Betty Carson and Susie Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Maney Harbin; his children, Tricia "Sissy" Fortner and Adam Harbin (Amanda); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Fortner, Thomas Fortner, Vivian Harbin and Wyatt Harbin; his siblings, Doug Harbin (Doris), Ann Parnell, Becky Whitaker (Grady), Debbie Norris and Joey Herring; and his stepbrothers, Guy Herring of Anderson and Bobby Herring of Anderson. He is also survived by other loving relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
