She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Forrester Bowen and Walter Marvin Bowen; and her sister Becky Bowen Hamby (Ricky Hamby). She is survived by: her children, Rebekah Hamby, Nathan Hamby (Amy) and Aaron Hamby (Valerie); her grandchildren, Lillie and Greyson; her sister Donna Compton (Buddy); her niece Carrie Alverson (Ray); her nephew Bryan Compton (Beth); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Collin, Rayna, Jayden and Aiden; her sister Anne Allred (Cecil); her nibling Russell Allred (Amy); her great-nieces, Matilda and Tabitha; her sister Anita Bowen; her children, Caleb Hitt and Keturah Dickson (Aaron); and her granddaughter Sylvia.
In this spirit the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations would be made to St. Judes children's hospital, or Shriners children's hospital of Greenville.
