We bid farewell to Rita King of Anderson, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2026 at the age of 90. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Patterson and Maggie Patterson; and her brothers, James, Leonard and Eddie Patterson.
She is survived by: her son Hew King (Ann); her grandchildren, Matt King (Mary Chamblee) and Chandler King; her great grandchildren, Violet Branham and Hewlett King; and her sisters, Tina Hopkins and Louise Crocker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
