He is survived by: his wife Mary Kate Buchanan Burdette; his son Bill Burdette (Denise); his grandchildren, Robby Burdette (Tabby), Caleb Burdette, Ashley Garcia Burdette (Edson), Allison Mast (Justin) and Meghan Kidd (Charles); his great grandchildren, Blakely, Marley, Lane, Adeley, Joanna, Jonathan, Naomi, Silas, James, Will, Izzy and Ellie; and his siblings, Johnny Burdette and Nadine Pilgrim (Jimmy).
