He is survived by: his wife Shelby Sanders Lawhon; his children, Gary Lawhon (Melissa), Kelly Barfield (Cliff), Heath Lawhon (LeClaire) and Melissa Cantrell (Cain); his friend Jeanne Thomas (Kelly); his grandchildren, Will Lawhon, Mitch Lawhon (Sara), Kaci Barfield, Andrew Barfield (Lyndsi), Courtney Bailey (Chase), Neal Barfield (Emily), Stephanie Carmley (Corey), Zac Taylor (Lorianne), Jackson Cantrell (Brooke), Ashley Thomas, Ryan Thomas (Erin) and Natalie Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Eliza Lawhon, Lucy Lawhon, Crew Barfield, Banks Barfield, Tide Barfield, Grace Bailey, Wesley Bailey, Makenzie Bray, Levi Carmley, Whitner Cantrell and Maizie Taylor.
