She is survived by: her husband Sammy Jr. Maxwell; her children, Eric Pitner and Alexus Maxwell; her grandchildren, Erikah Pitner, Sasha Ward and Olivia Pitner; her siblings, Valerie Banks, Tonya Banks and Willie Michael Banks; her aunts, Cathy Partlow, Brenda Blackwell, Mary Ann Rucker and Jackie Johnson; her nieces and nephews, Nyasia Ebanks, Briamaian Edmond, Michael Banks and Malaci Potillo; and her friends, Geneva, Claudia Minter and Miss Donna of Simon's. She is also survived by brothers and one adopted sister; one half brother and two half sisters.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (2902 Maple Springs Rd, Dewy Rose, GA 30634).
She worked for a number of years at the Hampton Group Home in Pickens, SC, New Foundation, and Senior Solutions both located in Anderson, SC.
