He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Guyton and Linda Marie Rainey Guyton; and his grandparents, Walter, Gennieve Rainey, Andrew, Ada Hammonds and John Guyton.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Regina Grate Guyton; his children, Shamari Guyton, Shernessa Guyton, Brandon Grate (Tiara) and Malik Grate; his siblings, Stephen Rainey, Kelvin Rainey (Michelle), Frank Guyton, Jr. (Geraldine) and Yolanda Guyton Ellis (Reggie); his aunts, Wanda Rainey and Jenny Rainey; his parents-in-law, Nathaniel and Paulette Grate; and his siblings-in-law, Cedric Gleaton (Phyllis), Cheryl Blackburn (Charles), Teresa Dennis (Chris) and Crystal Grate. He is also survived by grandchildren, other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Home Is As Follows. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Holly Light Missionary Baptist Church (6300 SC-187, Anderson, SC 29625).
