Tommy C. Burdette Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 75, Tommy C. Burdette of Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Tommy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tommy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Burdette and Kathleen Erwin Burdette; and his son Andrew J. Burdette. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Shaw Burdette; his son Tommy K. Burdette (Misty); his stepsons, Keith Daigneault, Micheal Daigneault and Shawn Dumais; and his brothers, Mitchell, Steve and Alan Burdette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sosebee Mortuary (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory (3219 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mj Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
