She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Edward and Lula Mae Hughes Smith; and her former husband David Hix Culbreath. She is survived by: her pet Simba; her fiancé Ed Brent; her sisters, Shelia Taylor (Len), Cindy Harris (George) and Bennie Smith Thompson; and her nieces and nephews, Andrea Cabe (Frank), Lance Taylor (Brittany), Allison Taylor, Genevieve Harris and Jacob Harris (Beth). She is also survived by four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pruitt Funeral Home (603 N Main St, Honea Path, SC 29654). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path Service (603 N Main St, Honea Path, SC 29654).
The family has requested that memorials be made in the form of contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Ware Shoals, 2 Mill St. Ware Shoals SC 29692.
