She was predeceased by: her husband David Edward Whitten; her parents, Babb Lollis and Nora Holder Lollis; and her sisters, Ann Lollis Collins and Faye Lollis.

She is survived by: her son David LaRue Whitten of Ware Shoals; her brother Don Lollis of Williamston; her grandson Thomas; and her great grandchild Parker.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cross Hill Church of God (1703 SC-252, Belton, SC 29627). A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
