He was predeceased by : his parents, John Blair (Bud) and Ila Blair; his siblings, Clyde Blair (Joyce), Aiden Blair, Virgie Nell Campbell (Joe), Martha Smith (Ed) and Margaret Blair; and his niece Theresa Campbell (Bobby).

He is survived by : his wife Betty; his nephew Carey Blair; and his nieces, Sherry Fleming (Greg), Linda Clarey and Cathy King.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Dr, Ladson, SC 29456). The military honors was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
