He was predeceased by : his spouse Rema Amelia Webb Rankin; and his parents, William Weldon and LaTrelle Patrick Rankin. He is survived by : his sister Eleanor Rankin Robins of Anderson; his niece Gina Ellison Sanders (Jeff) of Greenville; and his close friends, Steve Marchbanks and George Thompson.
